Live Type is a similar software to final cut pro as the difference is that live type is specialised in creating title credits. The similarities between live type and final cut pro are the functions of the programs as they both have a time liner which is used in order to rearrange the sequence. The main purpose of final cut pro is to edit footage and the purpose for live type is to create titles and credit. Although they are both used for different purposes, they have a link as the produced credits are placed onto the edited footage.

The advantage of using live type is that it gives us a wide range of fonts and effects suitable for each genre to choose from. This then gives us a better chance in order to create suitable credits for the chosen genre of our thrillers.

Sound track is software which is also quite similar to final cut pro and live type as this is a triplet that is combined together to make one final piece. Yet again soundtrack also has a time liner which is used for the same purpose. The functions are also similar to final cut pro and live type as the 3 software’s are produced to work well when combined.
